Health and Nutrition
Mechanisms have been put in place to ensure that orphans, HIV-positive children and other vulnerable children have access to essential health services. Mutual health insurance support programs and voluntary AIDS testing, hygiene and cleanliness education are the key elements of our interventions.
Initiatives aimed at expanding access to antiretroviral treatments, home visits (home care), the management of disabling diseases are also the priority of our interventions. Home care and support improve the well-being and self-esteem of children and their families. These interventions are also a good way to identify the neediest children. Young people (girls and boys) are trained and informed about reproductive health and are encouraged to use services reserved for young people available in all health centers in the country.
